About us and our editorial standards

ED Doctor Match is an independent Australian information and enquiry service, not a clinic. With your consent, we share contact details with our referral partner clinic; a registered doctor assesses your needs and decides what care is appropriate.

What are we, and what are we not?

ED Doctor Match is an independent Australian information and enquiry site. We provide general information about erectile dysfunction assessments and, if you choose, pass your contact details to our referral partner clinic so its team can call you back. We are not a clinic, we do not provide medical advice, and we do not assess whether any particular person needs care.

An enquiry is not a consult or an appointment. This site does not interpret test results, provide testing, or promise any option a doctor may discuss. You can read the information without sharing any details. Your own GP remains an alternative at every point.

Who is the referral partner?

We currently pass enquiries to one referral partner clinic. The clinic’s identity and our commercial relationship with it are confirmed to you in writing before you book.

Before you book anything, the clinic confirms its identity, its fees and how your information is handled. There are no hidden charges from this site; clinic, testing and pharmacy costs are separate matters to clarify with each provider. You do not have to book because you asked for a call-back.

What are our editorial standards?

Our aim is calm, factual, inclusive Australian English. Content distinguishes general information from individual clinical advice, avoids naming treatments, and never presents promised results. We do not use personal stories or images of people to imply an expected outcome.

Sources include Australian clinical guidance and government health information services. These sources support general context; they do not endorse this site or its referral partner. Information can change, so readers should check current details with the relevant provider. Clinical questions should be answered by a registered doctor.

Has a doctor signed off this content?

Reviewing doctor: placeholder. Not yet signed off. This block stays hidden from public view until a doctor has signed off.

No reviewing clinician identity or registration number is asserted here. Until sign-off is completed, these pages remain general information awaiting clinical checking.

ANOTHER WAY TO GET CARE

Your GP is always an option, too.

Your own GP can discuss erectile dysfunction and general sexual health, and may already know your health history. You can also explore public health information through Healthdirect.
